Amazingly gifted Violin Maestros Mysore Nagaraj & Dr. Manjunath, the sons and disciples of renowned violinist Sangeetha Vidhya Nidhi Prof. S. Mahadevappa, were child prodigies who matured quickly to emerge as some of the top ranking violinists in India today. Their exceptional musical talents were first revealed at the tender age of 9 when they stormed into the music world and swept the music lovers & critics off their feet by their extraordinary musical acumen and technical virtuosity. Acclaimed as child prodigies with astonishing musicianship, Nagaraj and Manjunath blossomed into some of the leading instrumentalists in the contemporary musical scene. Their marvelous imagination and technical versatility made them brilliant Violinists in the annals of Carnatic Classical Music.

Violin Concerts of these Maestros have been featured in innumerable music festivals & conferences all over the world. Nagaraj & Manjunath have been awarded  A - Top Ranking at very young age. Excelling academically as well, Dr. Manjunath did his Master of Music at The University of Mysore, securing first rank and 4 gold medals. He continued his research to prepare a scholarly thesis on violin in Indian Classical Music and was awarded PhD. Dr.Manjunath has the privilege of representing Indian music at the prestigious International Violin Conference in San Diego several times. His outstanding performance at the Violin conference won him great admiration at the International level.

They have collaborated with many out standing musicians from all over the world & have performed Jugalbandhi (Indian fusion) concerts with many Top-ranking Hindustani artists in contemporary music today including Pandith V.G.Jog, Pandith Vishwamohan Bhat, Tejendra Narayana Majumdar, Pandith Ronu Majumdar Dr. N. Rajam, and others.

Manjunath & Nagaraj's phenomenal combination has been termed a “Dream Team” of two great violin minds with extraordinary musical IQ. The brothers have association with many outstanding musicians from all over the world including topmost western classical and country violinist-Mark Connor, internationally acclaimed composer Jai Uttal, Famous Italian Guitarist Priyo & well known Rock Violin star- Mark wood. The Mysore brothers also have a number of CD albums to their credit. They have repeatedly enthralled audiences in USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Switzerland, Australia and Gulf countries.

Laurels & accolades kept pouring in right from their childhood. They are some of the youngest musicians to be honored with the prestigious Rajyothsav Award by the Government of Karnataka. Mysore brothers received innumerable awards including the Best Violinist awards from The Music Academy and Indian fine arts society, Excellence award from American Institute of World culture, honors from the American Arts council, Sangeetha Samrat, Sangeetha Rathna, Ganakalashree, Sathyashri, Aryabhata honors, Meritorious Award from University of Oklahoma-USA etc.

Some of the unique performances also include Music concerts at Common Thread Festival in Oregon, USA, All European Cultural Festival in UK, Opera House,Sydney-Concert, Festival of India in London, Royal Charity concert in Kuala Lumpur before the King of Malaysia, concert at Federation square,Melbourne, special concert before His Excellency. Dr. Sam Nujoma, the President of the Republic of Namibia, Concert at Putra world trade centre, Kaula Lampur, Theatre da la villa, Paris and academic workshops/concerts at the University of Delaware, University of Wesleyan, University of Chicago, University of Iowa, University of N. Texas, University of Osaka, Japan, Texas A&M University & University of North Carolina.
